At S-Optics, we aim to ensure that all orders are processed and delivered as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Order Processing
Orders are processed during business hours, Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays.
Once your order has been confirmed and payment has been received, our team will begin processing your order. Processing times may vary depending on stock availability, order quantity, and product configuration.
Stock Availability
Some products may be available from local stock, while others may be sourced from our international suppliers.
Estimated lead times will be confirmed at the quotation or order stage. Typical lead times may include:
- Local stock: Usually dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
- Imported stock: Estimated delivery is typically 7–10 business days, unless otherwise advised.
- Special order items: Lead times may vary depending on supplier availability and product type.
S-Optics will communicate any delays as soon as possible.
Delivery
We offer delivery within South Africa using trusted courier partners.
Delivery times may vary depending on the delivery location, courier availability, and any circumstances outside of our control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. S-Optics will not be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
Delivery Fees
Delivery fees may vary depending on the order size, delivery location, product type, and courier charges.
Where applicable, delivery costs will be included in the quotation or confirmed before the order is processed.
Collection
Where collection is available, this must be arranged and confirmed with S-Optics in advance.
Orders may only be released once payment has been received and cleared.
Risk and Ownership
Risk in the goods passes to the customer once the order has been delivered to the nominated delivery address or collected by the customer or their appointed courier.
Ownership of the goods remains with S-Optics until full payment has been received.
Delays
While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery dates, all delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
S-Optics will not be liable for delays caused by courier services, customs clearance, supplier delays, public holidays, strikes, weather conditions, or any other events outside of our reasonable control.
Damaged or Missing Items
Customers must inspect all goods upon delivery.
Any damaged, incorrect, or missing items must be reported to S-Optics in writing within 48 hours of receiving the order. Please include the order number, photos where applicable, and a clear description of the issue.
